I don’t know about you, but my want in life is to actually live life.  I don’t want to spend my days on earth sitting in a chair behind a desk.  I can’t imagine doing that for the next 35 years.  Literally, I can’t stomach it.  Maybe I’m a free spirit…a hippie…a little burnt-out possibly on the whole adult thing?  All possibilities.  The one thing that I’m certain about is that life is WAY to short to do something that doesn’t make you happy.  There are 8,760 hours in a year.  How do you envision spending those hours?

We all want to find happiness, peace and live our best life, right?  BUT, we don’t want to be strapped to the 9-5 workday to be able to obtain it.  Don’t worry, there are ways you can start branching out to find your passion.  Here are 15 Side Hustles you can totally do that may end up turning into your full-time flexible gig!

  1. Dog Walking
  2. Babysitting
  3. Blogging
  4. Content Writer
  5. Copywriter
  6. Virtual Assistant
  7. Lawn maintenance
  8. Baker
  9. Teacher
  10. Driver for Uber
  11. Social Media Management
  12. Become a mystery shopper
  13. Become a tutor
  14. Learn photography
  15. Sell items online

The beautiful thing about side hustles and creating alternative income is that it is flexible.  You can do these jobs before work or after work, and build up a clientele list that may lead to you being able to change your side hustle into a full-time job.

I’ve been fortunate enough that I have recently been able to do this.  Just a few months ago, I took the leap and invested in myself to write full-time.  I do a mixture of things for myself, and for others, and I’ve never once questioned my decision.  My days are mine to do what I want with, and I can work from anywhere that I can find an internet connection.  I feel more energized, alive and free than I have ever felt in my entire life and the support that I have had from my family has proven to me time and time again that the right choice was made to start this venture.  What started out as a small side hustle for me, is now my way of life.  My career, my path…and my choice.

I wake up every day, excited for the day.  I answer to myself for the most part and have the flexibility to work as much, or as little as I want that day.  I love interacting and finding clients to work with and have made some amazing connections so far.  I can’t wait to continue to grow and learn as my side hustle turned full-time continues to advance.

Do you have a side hustle or part-time job?  Are you wanting to make it your full-time or are you just looking for some extra income?

I would love to be able to blog full time one day. It must be so good to be your own boss and be able to work from wherever you are at the time. I quite like the idea of having a few little side hustles making up my wage too.

Great ideas! It’s always a good idea to start something up either on the side or to build on. I do copy writing as and when I have the time and it’s a nice little earner.

Those are all good ideas for a side hustle. As much as I have thought of running a few posts for money,I just don’t feel I want to be paid as a blogger pushing products I know not that much about.
    It is a tricky path.
