- Nutter Butter Cookies
- Red, White, and Green Wilton Cookie Icing
- Wilton Sparkle Gel in white (optional)
- Wilton Snowman Cookie Ball Decorations
HOW TO MAKE EASY HOLIDAY COOKIES
- Place the Nutter Butter Cookies on wax paper.
- Squeeze white icing on Nutter Butter Cookies and let it run down the sides. Add more icing to the top edge as needed and make certain it’s covered.
Position the eyes, nose, and buttons on the snowman. Let the cookies sit for a few minutes so that the icing begins to dry.
Lift up cookies using a spatula before the icing is completely dry and move them to a clean sheet of wax paper. You may have to do this a couple of times until the icing quits pooling on the wax paper. Then, continue to let the icing dry completely.
Use the red or green cookie icing to make a scarf around the snowman’s neck. Make certain to let it dry completely.
Add some of the Wilton Sparkle Gel to the bottom of the cookies and spread it around with a butter knife so it spills over the edge of the cookie.
Let the icing dry overnight. (it may not take overnight, but the icing does need time to set up and harden)
Once the icing is completely dry, position the cookies on the cookie platter and serve.
