Our family loves new experiences, activities, and adventure, and our latest family-friendly activity at Fritz’s Adventure in Branson, MO didn’t disappoint. It was honestly one of the most fun and memorable indoor activities that we have been able to participate in together, and we are already counting down the days until we return.
It’s no secret that we love to explore the great outdoors and do so quite often. From camping to state parks, we are always game to see what Mother Nature has in store. During our latest camping adventure to Branson, MO, we knew we wanted to explore, but this time, we had our eye on an indoor adventure destination instead. We were ecstatic to discover Fritz’s Adventure, a hidden gem that is open all year long in Branson, MO.

Fritz’s Adventure Branson, MO
Walking into Fritz’s is one of those experiences that literally just about takes your breath away…Not only do you hear laughter, screaming and the sounds of children and adults having fun but you also see all sorts of activities literally happening from the rooftops all the way down to the floor. Every square inch of space is utilized to find some sort of fun and adventurous activity for families to explore and enjoy together. Plus…there’s a giant airplane suspended from the ceiling just waiting to greet you and have you climb right in. (Yes, really…you get to climb inside!)
What exactly is Fritz’s Adventure?
Honestly, it’s anything you want it to be. It’s creativity, imagination, magic, and wonder. It’s an indoor adventure that creates family memories and bonding and is a place for children, young in age and young at heart, to conquer their fears and build up their self-confidence.
Fritz’s Adventure was created by a mom and dad of five boys. They wanted to create an indoor, authentic, life-size “playground” comprised of their family’s experiences that other families of all ages could explore together.
And with that want, Fritz’s Adventure was born. The great part about Fritz’s is that nearly everything in the building is repurposed and reused, making it a really, really cool experience knowing that you are climbing and exploring items that were located all over the United States. PLUS…when you pay for daily admission, you can come and go as many times as you want during that same day! (so awesome!!)

Ziplining from the roof
Who says you have to be outside to go ziplining? Fritz’s makes it so people can conquer their fears and mark items off their ziplining bucket list at the same time! Hold on tight because you’re dangling and soaring over the heads of everyone down below!
Corkscrew slide from the ceiling
Who doesn’t love sliding down a super fast and fun slide? I can assure you that you’ve never experienced the thrill of a slide until you’ve slid down the Corkscrew slide at Fritz’s Adventure. It is literally as tall as the ceiling and as curvy as a screw. (hence the name) Going down the slide was so exciting that I *might* have raced right back up and gone again! (Did I mention that EVERYTHING in Fritz’s is kid-friendly and adult-friendly?!)
The picture below shows just how high up the corkscrew slide is as our oldest daughter ziplines past.
And if you happen to go later in the evening, the lighting effects at Fritz’s make for even more fun adventure as well. Look how tall and beautiful the corkscrew slide looks all lit up at night! C’mon…it’s calling your name.
Ropes Course
One of my fears in life is heights…and while I’m aware of that fear, I also love how the ropes course at Fritz’s pushed me to conquer and overcome. With over 51 different challenges to tackle while walking in the sky, it’s one of the coolest and most interactive features that Fritz’s has to offer. (Don’t worry, Fritz’s takes safety VERY seriously and you are harnessed in and 100% safe the entire time!)
There are three different levels to the ropes course that anyone can tackle. Everyone is welcome as long as you are over 42 inches tall. (and if you have a little one that isn’t quite there yet, there is a junior ropes course for them as well!)
Age isn’t anything but a number when it comes to tackling the ropes course! Even over 70, she is conquering and pushing the limits!
Every obstacle is different but requires patience, persistence and overcoming doubt. While you are harnessed in, there is sometimes nothing else surrounding you when you are walking across beams or on ropes, way up in the sky. Many of the objects move, so you must use your muscles when trekking through each level of the ropes course. How high can you go? Challenge yourself to find out!

Vertical City Climbing Wall & Telephone Poles
Take rock climbing to a whole other level and tackling the City Wall at Fritz’s. I found out rather quickly that I needed to work a bit more on my upper body strength (c’mon, carrying around two kids for years didn’t help me out any more than that?!) but my husband was a true champ. He climbed his way straight up to the top! It’s quite the Branson rock crawling adventure!
If you wanna have a climbing battle with someone, having each of you start climbing the telephone poles at the same time is a fun and great challenge!
Underground tunnels
From one adventure extreme to another, you can literally spend part of your day at Fritz’s Adventure in Branson, MO high in the sky and the other part of the day exploring all the underground tunnels. Just when you think that there isn’t another twist or underground turn to explore…you find one.
I know for a fact that our kiddos loved crawling around knowing that everyone else was walking right above them. Some of the spaces are tight where crawling on hands and knees are required while others can be accessed by bending over a bit instead of standing up fully.
Laser Room fun
Just how stealthy are you? Give yourself the challenge to see in the laser room! You can select many different game options, skill level, and single or multi-player and have fun giving it your best shot.
There’s even a viewing area that you can sit in and watch your kids as they run around in the dark or try to slither over and under all the laser beams. Can you get a top score? If so, you get to input your name proudly for all to see!
Our youngest loved the Beam Breaker challenge where the point was to sprint around the enclosed room and break as many beams, as quickly as possible. I have to say…she’s was pretty impressive!
Warped Wall Challenge
Who doesn’t love American Ninja Warrior? In our house, we’re pretty much obsessed. So much so that when we saw the warped walls at Fritz’s Adventure, we were wiping off the bottom of our shoes to tackle ’em.
The great part about the warped walls at Fritz’s is that there are varying ones for all ages and challengers. Our youngest daughter got a helpful tip from one of the most amazing employees named Lacey, and she became quite the pro at the warped wall that was perfect for her age.
My husband and I went to give it a try at the more advanced warped walls. For me…I just didn’t have enough ups to even come close. (I had fun trying, though!) Him, on the other hand, showed off his skills in one quick and easy try. Next time we go, we’ll tackle the “giant” warped wall and see if we’ve improved enough to beat it!
Interactive Floor Games
Have I mentioned that EVERYTHING at Fritz’s has you moving and exercising your entire body? It’s such a great place to get a great workout and put your body in motion.
One aspect of Fritz’s that our girls really loved was the giant interactive floor games. It was a blank space that literally projected down games and images onto the floor where they then had to rush around and play. One game they played soccer against each other and the other was more like “Whack – a – mole” except they were jumping and stomping with their feet, giving their entire body tons of movement and exercise. (I may have jumped in a time or two as well…I couldn’t stop myself!)
Aerodium
Say what?! Yes, Fritz’s has an Aerodium as well. Don’t know what that means? Friends…you are in for a treat. In a nutshell, it’s a vertical wind tunnel that moves air upwards and takes you with it.
Not only do you get to feel what flying in the air feels like, but you are also trained before “takeoff” by instructors from Europe. Before ever getting into the Aerodium, you will get instructions on how and what is getting ready to happen.
While you may be geared up and ready to tackle this right now, this part of Fritz’s in closed until the return of warmer weather! (it’s located outside, right in front of the building)
