Red Velvet Milkshake – Homemade Dessert Your Kids Will Love

Recipes

16 Jan

This Red Velvet Milkshake is delicious, simple and certain to be a hit with your kiddos. Who doesn’t love the winning combination or red velvet cake and Oreos?

While I “claim” that my kiddos love this Red Velvet Milkshake, I may have a little soft spot in my heart for it as well. My favorite cake in the entire world happens to be Red Velvet and my favorite cookies? You guessed it…Oreos. Why it took forever to combine and create this recipe is beyond me…I’ll blame my “mom brain” and just leave it at that.

What I love most about this recipe is that it really does taste like Red Velvet. So many desserts will make that claim, but very few actually follow through. If I”m gonna splurge and eat this homemade milkshake with who knows how many calories, then I’m gonna make certain that it tastes amazing first.

Give your taste buds a true treat with this crazy simple and delicious Red Velvet Milkshake. Homemade dessert never tasted so good!

Red Velvet Milkshake – Homemade Dessert Your Kids Will Love

Combining ice cream, red velvet cake, and Oreos all into one dessert? It’s an absolute sugar overload, without a doubt. But sometimes in life, you just have to have one of this delicious milkshakes and appreciate that you spend most of your time address and upholding sugar moderation for you and your kids.

Can you use chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla ice cream for a Red Velvet Milkshake?

Yes, you can. It will change the appearance and the taste a bit, so keep that in mind. However, if you are really craving chocolate ice cream, or if that’s all that you happen to have in the house, you can create this same recipe and just substitute in the chocolate as you want.

Do you have to bake the red velvet cake mix before mixing with the other ingredients?
