If you’re looking for a great hotel with a great price, look no further than Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center. It offers a ton of value for the price and is located in a highly desirable location in the center of Branson. We’ve actually had the pleasure of staying there a couple of different times, and every single time I’ve been super impressed with our stay.
While we were hosted during our trip to Branson, all thoughts and opinions are 100% our own.
If you don’t know much about my past, let’s just say I know a thing or two about hotels. My first Bachelor’s degree from college was earned in Hotel/Restaurant Management, so I’m actually pretty harsh when it comes to staying in hotels that I didn’t clean or organize myself. (Trust me on this…I have a whole hotel routine that I do every time we stay at a hotel and it drives my family nuts!)
Stone Castle Hotel – Best Place to Stay in Branson, MO With A Family
What I love most about the Stone Castle Hotel in Branson, MO is just how clean and well-kept it is. Here’s the thing…I’ve stayed at all sorts of hotels. 5-star ones all the way down to those less than desirable ones that we’d all rather forget..Been in them all. It’s no stretch to say that Stone Castle is one of the cleanest hotels that I’d ever stayed in, and that is truly quite impressive.
In fact, I loved our stay so much, I made a quirky little video with a Mr. Rogers theme as I enjoyed singing and prancing around the room. Pretty fun, right?

And as you can see from the video, we were in quite a room! We were in the themed room called Camelot – a true room for a princess, right?! 😉 Not only did we have a wonderful king bed, but we had a jetted tub as well. I can’t tell you how much I loved having such a big, clean room to come home to after a wonderful day of exploring Branson.
Your family will love the themed suites at the Stone Castle Hotel in Branson, MO
While we were in the Camelot room, there are a ton of other great themed suites available as well! Some of the best entertainers in Branson have some pretty cool rooms decorated at Stone Castle just waiting for you to stay in them!
Check out Clay Cooper’s Crib or the Dolly Parton Stampede Room! You can catch their shows and then come to the Stone Castle Hotel and stay in their themed-suite. How fun is that?!
We loved the cute little touches in our themed suite. I felt completely safe and secure with this knight guarding our door all night long!
And on the other side of the room, we had this beautiful wall painting to look at during our stay. Did I mention how big the room was? Almost 400 square feet!
And you best believe that I spent some time in the jetted tub. You would too, right?
Stone Castle Hotel – Not Your Typical Chain Hotel
Stone Castle Hotel isn’t a chain hotel, and that, my friends, is a good thing. This means that this hotel listens to the wants and needs of its customer base and does a great job of updating and keeping the hotel family-friendly. The hotel is actually owned by several gentlemen who take great pride in its operations. I had the privilege of meeting them during our trip to Branson and it was obvious that the Stone Castle Hotel was very near and dear to their heart.
What this also means is that every upgrade, every repair and every single cost that the hotel has, the owners are involved in the process. This is why when Stone Castle Hotel went through some major renovations and upgrades this past winter, it was a really big deal for the hotel.
PS – All their hard work paid off with upgrading, too! The hotel looks amazing and is so nice and clean. They added new carpet throughout and adding more modern furniture to their lobby areas as well. I’m seriously in LOVE with the blue chairs.
Indoor Pool fun for the entire family
If you have kids that like to swim, you’re in luck. Stone Castle Hotel has two indoor pools that are open till the late hours of the night! (Don’t’ worry, they’re in a secluded area so they aren’t loud to other hotel guests.)
And if you’re kids like to get up early and go swimming as ours do, they’re bound to work up an appetite as well. Good thing that Stone Castle has a full hot breakfast every single morning! Biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles…you name it. Plus…coffee! (or as I like to call it, the miracle juice for parents)
There’s no doubt in my mind that Stone Castle Hotel is the best place to stay in Branson for a family. It’s affordable, it’s clean and the location just can’t be topped. I know without a doubt that we’ll be staying there for all of the future trips that we have planned to Branson.
